Terms of service

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by a solicitor before you take paying customers — in particular the liability and compliance-disclaimer clauses.

1. The service

ComplyGood is a compliance management system. It helps you collect, store, evaluate and report on documentation relating to EU regulations, starting with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste.

2. Not legal advice

ComplyGood does not provide legal advice. Our plain-English summaries, wizard output and generated templates are aids to understanding and record-keeping. You remain responsible for determining and meeting your own regulatory obligations, and should confirm your position with a qualified adviser. Generated documents — including EU Declarations of Conformity — are templates that you must review before signing.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you and your suppliers enter.
  • You must not use the service to store unlawful content.

4. Trials and billing

  • Free trials run for 14 days and require no payment card.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices exclude VAT.
  • You may cancel at any time; the service continues to the end of the paid period.
  • Plan limits on suppliers, products and brands are enforced by the system.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you upload. You may export it as Excel, CSV and PDF at any time. We process it in line with our privacy policy and delete it 30 days after cancellation.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on standard plans. Enterprise plans may include a contractual SLA.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for regulatory penalties, fines or enforcement action arising from your compliance position.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
