Regulation (EU) 2025/40 is already in force. The obligations phase in: PFAS limits on food-contact packaging from 12/08/2026, harmonised labelling from 12/08/2028, and recyclability plus packaging bans from 01/01/2030.
Yes. If you place packaging on the EU market — including bringing goods in from the UK — you carry producer obligations, and if you sell under your own brand you are the manufacturer for PPWR purposes regardless of who makes the packaging.
